On the afternoon of April 11, the Grand Renovation Ceremony of Songyuan Safety's Shanghai R&D Center and Partners Appreciation Event, themed "Gathering Momentum for a Fresh Start · Uniting for a Shared Future," was grandly held in Shanghai. The newly renovated and completed Shanghai R&D Center marks a crucial step for the company in advancing its global strategy.

In his speech, CEO Hu Kaina stated that the change of Songyuan’s stock abbreviation from "Songyuan Co., Ltd." to "Songyuan Safety" represents a core focus on the value of safety. "In the future, we will empower the industry’s intelligent safety transformation through three major strategies: localized collaborative innovation, global technological feedback, and sustainable value cycles."

During the event, Mr. Ren Xiaofeng, Head of Stellantis Group's China Vehicle Engineering Center, shared the achievements of the cooperation between the two parties. In 2023, Songyuan Safety became a core member of Stellantis' global supply chain, gaining international recognition for its efficient delivery and innovative technologies.

In addition, Mr. Zhan Jun, Sales Director of Daicel Safety Systems Greater China, reviewed the cooperation between the two sides in areas such as air curtains and lightweight seat airbags, emphasizing that "technological integration is the cornerstone of creating products trusted by 10 million users."

From an investment perspective, Mr. Yu Te, Executive Deputy Director of Huaxi Securities Research Institute, pointed out that Songyuan Safety focuses on the main track of automotive safety systems and demonstrates the dual advantages of "technology + cost," making it a focus of attention in the capital market.

Amidst the countdown and applause from the entire audience, leaders and guests including Hu Chanming, Chairman of Songyuan Safety, and Hu Kaina, CEO, jointly pressed the launch button, announcing the official inauguration of the Shanghai R&D Center. Positioned as a hub for core R&D of product assemblies, restraint system integration and simulation, and core R&D of electrical and electronic systems as well as software and hardware, the center will focus on intelligent safety technologies, lightweight material R&D, and other directions in the future.
